Man brandished realistic imitation gun in taxi fare row and his mum ushered him away, shouting it was ‘only a toy gun’, court hears

A taxi passenger involved in a fare dispute with the driver got a “realistic” imitation handgun from his house, came out and pointed it in the driver’s direction, it is alleged.

Ian Brennan brandished the airsoft BB gun after he grabbed the driver’s ID from his dashboard and another two taxi drivers arrived at the scene of the row in west Dublin, a court was told.
