MINNEAPOLIS — Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Daunte Culpepper came to town for an event with Tommy Kramer ahead of the Vikings' Sunday Night Football game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Culpepper was the franchise quarterback for the Vikings from 1999-2006. The Florida-native is remembered for an electric connection with wide receiver Randy Moss. The duo were fan favorites during their time together.

During his time in the purple and gold, Culpepper led the team to two playoff runs, one division title, and an NFC Championship Game appearance, along with earning three Pro Bowl selections.

He spoke about his relationship with Randy, his thoughts on current Vikings quarterback J.J. McCarthy, and how he found a friend in former Vikings quarterback Tommy Kramer during tough times.
