NORTH CHARLESTON , S.C. -- South Florence rebounded with a vengeance from last week's 55-35 loss to Northwestern, the defending 5A, D2 state champ.

South Florence, the defending 4A state champ, rolled past Fort Dorchester on Friday with a 65-7 win on the road.

JayAun Perkins caught a touchdown pass from Messiah Jackson. Tracy Washington caught a touchdown pass from De'Eric Davis, and Davis himself ran for a TD as did Treychon Blue.

Jackson, meanwhile, rushed for two touchdowns of his own, and Gabe McLaughlin ran for a TD. Warnell Prew returned an interception for a score, and Gerkeim Hall returned a fumble for a touchdown.
