(WJW) -- The start of the week will be sunny and warm. Cooler along the shoreline. Highs will range from the upper 70s along the lake to well into the 80s for places inland. If Cleveland hits 80 degrees, Monday will be the first 80-degree day since Sept. 3.

The rest of the week will be sunny and warm! High temperatures every day this week will be near 80 degrees. High temperatures this week will be about 5 degrees above normal for this time of year. Cooler near the lake.

The reason why this week is going to be warm and sunny is because an upper-level ridge will be anchored over the Great Lakes for much of the week.
