Travellers are warned of disruption today as strong winds batter the UK. Several flights have been delayed at Manchester Airport due to the windy conditions.
It comes as the Met Office has issued a yellow warning for wind which covers the south, the Midlands, Wales and parts of the North East and North West, including the whole of Greater Manchester.
The warning came into force from 8pm on Sunday evening and is in place until 6pm today, Monday September 15.
The Met Office said: "Strong and gusty winds are likely to cause some disruption to travel and interruptions to power.”
