Joe Burrow might have played his last down of the 2025 season.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback will undergo surgery on his toe, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported, noting it will sideline Burrow for at least three months.
While on “Get Up,” Schefter said there is a “real possibility” Burrow doesn’t return this season.
Burrow suffered Grade 3 turf toe — a torn ligament at the base of his big toe — in the second quarter of the Bengals’ eventual 31-27 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars when he was sacked.
He eventually made his way to the blue medical tent before going back to the locker room with assistance. Burrow had a visible limp as he walked with personnel on either side of him .
Prior to the injury, Burrow completed seven of his 13 passes for 76 yards and a touchdown.
