DENVER (KDVR) — The leaves are still changing colors around Colorado, but snow is already falling in the mountains, and in about a month, it could start to fall in Denver, too.

It's still in the 80s in Denver by mid-September, but flakes are falling across the Front Range.

Snow was falling on several peaks across Colorado in early September, with flakes covering Pikes Peak and light snow on Wilkerson Pass. By mid-September, some ski resorts like Breckenridge Ski Resort, Keystone Ski Resort and Arapahoe Basin reported their first snow of the season as well.
