DENVER (KDVR) -- Snow is not expected for another month or so in Denver weather, but Coloradans looking forward to the ski season should get excited as some resorts reported their first snowfall of the season over the weekend.
Some resorts announced target opening dates toward the end of August, and several other ski resorts and areas have since released tentative opening dates, assuming the weather is cooperative with their plans.
Now, some opening dates may be more solidified after two Colorado ski resorts reported their first snowfall of the 2025-2026 winter season.
