Platinum-selling rapper That Mexican OT will headline a multi-artist music show in West Des Moines later this month.

The Bay City, Texas, rapper is performing at Val Air Ballroom on Tuesday, Sept. 30. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., with That Mexican OT affiliates RNB Foemob and Drodi set to open the concert.

Who is That Mexican OT?

Born Virgil René Gazca, the 26-year-old burst onto the music scene in 2023 with his hit song " Johnny Dang ," from the album "Lonestar Luchador." The track pays tribute to Johnny Dang , a Vietnamese-born jeweler based in Houston, who has famously crafted jewelry for rap legends such as Drake, Jay-Z and Rick Ross.
