LEE COUNTY, Iowa (KYOU) - A Van Buren County man was killed Saturday when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed in Lee County.

Iowa State Patrol says 18-year-old Lucas Timothy Johnson of Farmington was traveling westbound on County Road 103, just east of Pilot Grove Road, when he lost control on a curve in the roadway.

Johnson entered a ditch and hit a utility pole.

Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.

Iowa State Patrol says the crash remains under investigation.
