BRIDGETON — The Cumberland County Prosecutor's Office is still looking for Dulce Maria Alavez six years after her disappearance.

Alavez, who was 5 at the time, went missing from City Park on Sept. 16, 2019. She was last seen playing with her then 3-year-old brother at 4:20 p.m. Her mother, Noema Alavez Perez, was attending to an 8-year-old relative when she realized she couldn’t find her daughter.

Investigators say Alavez could be in the company of a light-skinned male who is 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 with a thin build, no facial hair and acne on his face.

Tips on Alavez's whereabouts have come from in state, across the country and Mexico, officials say.
