POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. (KFVS) - The John J. Pershing VA Medical Center is set to host a festival in Poplar Bluff for veterans.
The free event, VetFest, will kick off at 9 a.m. through 12 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, at the main VA campus in Poplar Bluff.
Organizers say there will be music, games and fun for all ages, veterans and their families.
This includes a car display, dunking booth, live band, activities for children and petting mini highland cows.
Food will be available for purchase.
In addition to the activities, there will be informational outreach booths covering a variety of VA programs and services, such as Home Telehealth, Whole Health, Suicide Prevention, Chaplain Services, Enrollment and Eligibility, My HealtheVet, the Women Veterans Program and others.
