EAST LANSING — Jonathan Smith on Monday, Sept. 15, provided Michigan State footbal l fans some good injury news on their two best skill players, but some bad injury news on two others.
Smith, in his weekly news conference, said the status for standout sophomore receiver Nick Marsh (leg) and sophomore running back Makhi Frazier (leg/foot) for the USC game in the Big Ten opener next Saturday will be determined late this week, and that they are not thought to be as significant as two other injuries suffered Saturday.
Redshirt junior offensive lineman Luka Vincic has a long-term knee injury and Smith said they "probably won't see him the rest of the year." Dynamic sixth-year graduate kick returner Alante Brown (lower body) also a long-term injury issue, Smith said.
