According to a post published by the Chicago Contrarian on X, the Chicago Sun-Times used publicly submitted photographs to develop a digital mapping system identifying Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents operating within Chicago. The post pointed out this effort and said that the media outlet had "stooped to a new level" and was now "a weapon targeting ICE agents." The Chicago Contrarian said that this system could endanger federal officers by publicizing their locations.
