Viktor Gyokeres may be the joint-second top scorer in the Premier League, but he won't win this season's Golden Boot.

That's the view of talkSPORT's Troy Deeney , who believes his Arsenal teammate Kai Havertz will replace him in attack for their biggest games of the campaign.

Gyokeres has netted three goals in four appearances for Arsenal since his £63.7million signing from Sporting Lisbon in the summer.

He scored on two occasions in their 5-0 thrashing of Leeds United before extending his tally in a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.

The Sweden international is level with Bournemouth star Antoine Semenyo on three Premier League goals for the 2025/26 season.
