A male student at Trexler Middle School was charged as a juvenile with making a phony bomb threat at his school, according to Allentown police.

Police responded to the bomb threat at 8:30 a.m. Monday on North 15th Street in Allentown, police said. After determining the threat was false, a subsequent investigation led police to the boy, according to a news release .

He was taken into custody and charged as a juvenile with making terroristic threats, it says.
