IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Gennings Dunker is a big brother - emphasis on ‘big.’
“(Gennings) used to carry a cooler around school and it was full of sandwiches, turkey and ham sandwiches and stuff,” remembers his high school football coach Ric Arand.
Gennings is the oldest of three football players. Gage plays at Upper Iowa, Gannon is a senior in high school.
“My mom usually cooks. We have a giant crockpot, usually we have crockpot meal so usually it’s pretty full,” Dunker said. “She’s got one of those big ones too, and then we’ll eat the same thing for breakfast too. It’s pretty awesome.”
He is also something of an older brother in his Hawkeye offensive line room.
Offensive line coach George Barnett recalls a practice before Iowa played Wisconsin; Dunker had a tall task in front of him
