This week is going to feel entirely like summer here in Michigan. However, there will be a few quirks that may not make it feel like August.

When I’m talking about Michigan feeling like summer, I mean all of Michigan, including the typically cooler northern Lower Michigan and the even cooler Upper Peninsula.

Let’s start with a good visual of the abnormality of temperatures through this coming Sunday. Below is a forecast of the temperature deviations from normal. When you see orange or red, it will be significantly warmer than normal. All you see is orange and red.

Here are the actual high temperatures forecast for this workweek. Northern Lower Michigan may have some clouds and a stray shower Thursday, leading to temperatures in the 70s, which are still warmer than average.
