An Old Town man has pleaded guilty to his role in a drug trafficking conspiracy.

Alan Dziob, 44, entered his plea Monday in U.S. District Court in Bangor, according to the U.S. attorney’s office.

Between January and April 2021, Dziob conspired with others to traffic and distribute cocaine, cocaine base, fentanyl and methamphetamine in Penobscot County and elsewhere, the U.S. attorney’s office said Monday afternoon.

Dziob supplied drugs to a dealer who then sold them for him, prosecutors said.

He faces up to 40 years in prison, up to a $5 million fine, and up to a lifetime of supervised release.

A judge will determine Dziob’s sentence after considering U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other factors.
