Jacksonville Jaguars coach Liam Coen said on Sept. 15 during a Zoom media conference that second-year wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr., has a wrist injury that may have hampered him during a 31-27 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, a game in which Thomas dropped two crucial passes and caught four passes for 49 yards, despite being targeted by quarterback Trevor Lawrence 12 times.

Thomas is being roasted on social media by fans for his drops and apparent lack of effort on several plays during the game, ending when he made little attempt to catch a lateral on the final play when the team was trying to score with no time left on the clock.

Thomas did not appear on any of the team's injury reports last week. Coen said he doesn't think any other players will miss this week'
