The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver who caused the deadly, wrong-way crash that killed three people on Sunday in Brevard County made a U-turn on I-95 seconds before the collision.

Troopers say a 34-year-old woman from Cocoa was driving a Toyota Corolla the wrong way when she hit a Chevrolet Impala and caused a chain reaction.

The two people who were hit head-on were not wearing seat belts and were pronounced dead at the scene, according to FHP.

Six others were injured in the eight-car pileup.
