Veteran Marvel actor Famke Janssen has been added to the exciting new movie adaptation of the sci-fi novel One Second After. Famke Janssen's best roles include the Bond movie GoldenEye and a stint on How to Get Away With Murder, though she is best known for her turn as Jean Grey in the early 2000s X-Men movies.

William R. Forstchen's 2009 novel One Second After depicts the United States in the aftermath of an electromagnetic pulse attack that destroys all electronics . It ranked at No. 11 fiction bestseller on The New York Times list that May. The MPI Original feature adaptation will be directed by John Wick: Chapter 4 stunt coordinator Scott Rogers and written by J. Michael Straczynski.
