Two boys were arrested after vandalizing a Florida elementary school over the weekend.

The Volusia Country Sheriff's Office told NBC affiliate WESH that deputies responded to a fire alarm at Friendship Elementary School in Deltona, just north of Orlando.

When they arrived, police found a shattered glass door and the media center ransacked — resulting in at least $50,000 in damage. Body camera footage also showed overturned tables, scattered books and graffiti on the walls.

Surveillance cameras showed two boys, later discovered to be a 13-year-old and 12-year-old, who were responsible. Their mothers turned them in after the boys confessed to the incident.

The boys were accused of breaking into the school during the day, then returning at night and causing further damage.
