More weekend road closures are expected for Highway 25 and the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel over the coming weekend.
Transport Quebec says the closures will take place to allow for electrical and communication systems work to be carried out in the tunnel.
From 11 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 19, until 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, Highway 25, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, toward the South Shore will be closed between exit 5 — Route 138, Hochelaga Street, Sherbrooke Street — and the entrance from Île Charron.
During the same time frame, Highway 25, including the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, towards Montreal, will be closed exit 90 — Highway 20 West, Route 132, La Prairie, USA, Varennes, P.-E.-Trudeau Airport — and the entrance from Hochelaga Street
