DALLAS — A FedEx employee attacked his co-worker with a hammer before shooting him with the victim's gun, according to an arrest affidavit. In a text message, the suspect said a "glare" was the final straw.
Officers responded to a shooting call at about 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 3900 block of Adler Drive, the Dallas Police Department said in a press release. Police found that a FedEx employee shot his co-worker at the location, police said.
The victim was later identified as Reginald Miles, according to an arrest affidavit released by the Dallas Police Department. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, Ian Hollingsworth, was later arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
