A man’s emotional support alligator is no longer welcome at a Pennsylvania Walmart after a customer complained about the reptile.
Wesley Silva, 60, told NBC News that he’s never had any issues with his pet Jinseioshi.
But after making local news that showed the man pushing the gator in a shopping cart at the West Brownsville store, the retail giant began to get complaints.
Despite being harnessed and on a leash — also wearing a dress in photos — Silva was ordered by the store to keep Jinseioshi out.
“We have been going to that Walmart for about 3 1/2 years, and normally the reaction is ‘That’s pretty cool’ or ‘That is awesome that you have a pet alligator, man!’” Silva told the outlet.
