EVERETT, Mass. — Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, cast doubt Monday on the leadership of the U.S. Department of Health Human Services during a forum in Massachusetts.
Collins was a guest of the World Medical Innovation Forum hosted by Mass General Brigham. She was the featured guest for a fireside chat hosted by David Brown, MD, the President of Academic Medical Centers at Mass General Brigham .
The World Medical Innovation Forum convenes thousands of representatives from more than 650 organizations across the health care, biotech, government, and investment fields.
During the interview with Brown, Collins answered questions about federal funding cuts to the National Institutes of Health, as well as Medicaid cuts, closures of rural hospitals struggling with reimbursement rates, and va
