As thousands attended The Big E over the weekend, it’s unclear exactly how many enjoyed the fairgrounds, ate the cream puffs and explored the state houses.
The Big E, which has historically shared daily attendance numbers with media outlets, told MassLive on Monday it will not be sharing those numbers this year.
On Friday, MassLive published a news story after talking with Eugene Cassidy, the president of The Big E , in which he minimized widespread concerns of overcrowding at last year’s fair as “trolling” and claimed people were simply “inconvenienced.”
