A teenager has been stabbed to death in Manchester.
The boy, 15, was attacked this afternoon in Moss Side, a neighbourhood about two miles south of the city centre.
He was given CPR at the scene but was declared dead soon after ambulance crews arrived at 4.30pm.
The death of the teen, who has not been named, followed a ‘disturbance involving a number of people’, the police said.
Officers enforced a section 60 – which allows police officers to stop and search anyone without reasonable suspicion – until 5.20pm.
Photographs taken at around 8pm by the Manchester Evening News show multiple police officers and forensic teams at the scene. A blue police evidence tent has been pitched near the junction with Lloyd Street North.
