HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — The Hot Springs Police Department is investigating a shooting that happened on Sunday night.

According to reports, at about 10:40 p.m., Hot Springs officers were called to the 100 block of Rocky Reef Circle in reference to shots having been fired in the area.

Officers then arrived at the scene but were informed by dispatch that a male had recently arrived at a nearby emergency room suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his side.

The 38-year-old man told officers that he had been shot in the area near Rocky Reef Circle.

No information has been released regarding any possible suspects in this incident.
