LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — North Little Rock police officer Tommy Norman has now been released from the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility following his arrest over the weekend.

According to reports, on September 13, officers with the North Little Rock Police Department (NLRPD) arrested Norman in connection to what they described as a "domestic violence incident."

Reports say that he was charged with one count of third-degree domestic battery and was held at the Pulaski County jail.

On Monday morning, a judge deemed that Norman could bond out on a $350 cash bond.

Norman has since been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the judicial process as well as an internal investigation.
