SUNBURY — Alleged murderer Jose David Jusino Morales will head to trial Oct. 10 after Sunbury police said he shot and killed Eliud Marrero-Morales on Market Street in 2023.

Police allege the murder took place after an argument over a woman that appeared to have led the 20-year-old Sunbury man to shoot and kill Marrero-Morales, leaving him dead in the middle of the city’s main street late in the evening on Nov. 2 2023, according to city police.
