Politicians from both major parties deserve harsh scolding for their unity in believing the public should be shut out of congressional map-drawing negotiations.
Today in Ohio podcast hosts said the rare bipartisan consensus isn’t about good governance – it’s about protecting political power at the expense of transparency.
The podcast highlighted how even Democratic leaders, who typically have less power in Ohio’s redistricting process, are advocating for closed-door negotiations alongside their Republican counterparts.
