2 Louisiana men arrested in Assumption Parish after drugs found in car

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) -- Two men from Louisiana were arrested on drug charges after a traffic stop in Assumption Parish.

Deputies stopped a car on LA 1 after seeing multiple equipment violations. Plummer was arrested after deputies learned that he was a fugitive wanted in Ascension Parish. Jenkins was arrested after a search of a car found cocaine, crack cocaine, drug paraphernalia and cash.
