Utah Valley University will gradually reopen this week, after being closed for several days following the assassination of Charlie Kirk during a campus event on Wednesday.

All in-person and online UVU classes will resume Wednesday, Sept. 17, according to information released by UVU.

UVU employees, including student employees, will return Monday, the school said. Hourly employees will be paid for work missed while the campus was closed.

Parking and dining services will also return to normal on Monday, UVU said.

The campus will have increased security, the university said.
