State CFO Cites Nearly $200 Million in Excessive Spending; Advocates for Immediate Property Tax Cuts for Residents

Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, Blaise Ingoglia, has publicly accused Orange County of excessive and wasteful spending, asserting that its current General Fund Budget is approximately $190 million higher than justified when accounting for inflation and population growth. Ingoglia is urging the county to cut this spending and provide immediate property tax relief to residents.

The CFO stated, “This money belongs in the hands of taxpayers, not the bureaucrats who have proven to be fiscally irresponsible.”
