Thousands of Starlink users reported an outage that Ukrainian troops said also affected their ability to operate drones.
Over 47,000 reports were logged on the outage-tracking website Downdetector on September 14 approximately between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
Starlink is a satellite internet service company owned by billionaire Elon Musk. It’s operated by his company SpaceX.
The outage reportedly affected Ukrainian frontline troops operating their drones. Internet service was mostly restored by 10:00 p.m.
