VERNAL, Utah (ABC4) — A Vernal man has been arrested after meeting up with a 12-year-old and sexually assaulting her, court documents say.

Treyvin Lee Foote, 21, has been charged with enticing a minor with first-degree felony sexual activity, sexual abuse of a child, and unlawful kissing of a child.

On Sept. 2, 2025, an officer with the Vernal Police Department began investigating a case where Foote allegedly sent nude images to a 12-year-old girl. The following week, the 12-year-old victim was brought in for an interview at the Children's Justice Center.
