RICHMOND, Va. (WWBT) - Blood is always in high demand, but right now the Red Cross says its supply is slipping behind.

“We are in any situation where, unfortunately, the blood is leaving the Red Cross faster than it’s coming in,” said Jonathan McNamara with the Red Cross.
