LEEDS, Ala. (TRIBUNE) — The City of Leeds cut the ribbon on its newest recreation facility, a $1.7 million pickleball complex that city leaders say has been one of the most requested amenities from residents.

The facility features 12 regulation-size courts under a protective roof and professional-grade lighting to allow play during both daytime and evening hours.

“The one question we got more than anything else is when are we gonna build a pickleball court,” Miller says. “Pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in America, and our new courts give Leeds residents a top-quality place to gather, stay active, and build community.”
