WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump expressed his support for labeling Antifa as a domestic terrorist organization. He made the statement during a Q&A session with reporters in the Oval Office.

Antifa, short for antifascist, is known as an umbrella term for far-left militant groups. Despite Trump's stance, his former FBI director Christopher Wray had testified in 2020 that Antifa is an ideology, not an organization.

Wray noted that it lacks the structure typically required for a terror group designation by the federal government.
