FORT WORTH, Texas — The FBI announced Monday that it's looking for a man who robbed a Fort Worth bank armed with fireworks.
The FBI Dallas office says the robbery happened around 1:14 p.m. on Sept. 4 at the Chase Bank branch located at 4225 N. Tarrant Parkway. According to investigators, the suspect entered the bank armed with fireworks and attempted to ignite them while demanding money.
The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash. However, before he left, he demanded the keys to a bank employee’s vehicle but was unsuccessful in obtaining them. Investigators say he then ran from the bank and tried to steal keys from a woman at a nearby business. That attempt also failed, and he was seen running away from the scene.
The suspect is described as a white male between 28 and 32 years old
