Pittsburgh International Airport's terminal has been transformed, and before its grand opening, it will be put to the test.

The new terminal will undergo two public trial runs, with the first taking place on Saturday, using 450 of the 18,000 volunteers who signed up to see the new facility. Advertisement

"They'll be assigned an airline, they'll be assigned a flight, each checking real bags," Daniel Bryan, the airport's transition manager, said. "Each will be a departing passenger and an arriving passenger, so they will do both."

In addition, the Allegheny County Airport Authority said 2,500 volunteers will be used for a second test run, using feedback from the walk-through on Saturday.
