President Donald Trump is supportive of designating antifa a domestic terrorist organization as he and his aides consider how to respond to an increase in political violence, a concern pushed into the spotlight after last week’s assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.

“It’s something I would do, yeah,” Trump told reporters on Monday at the White House in response to a question. “Also, I’ve been speaking to the attorney general about bringing RICO against some of the people … that have been putting up millions and millions of dollars for agitation.”
