CUMBERLAND COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) -- A tractor-trailer crash Monday evening is causing traffic to divert off Interstate 81, PennDOT said.

There is a closure on I-81 northbound between exits 52 and 57 after a tractor-trailer overturned, a spokesperson for PennDOT said in an email at 6:50 p.m. There's heavy rubbernecking in the southbound lanes as well.

The spokesperson added that Route 11 is expected to see heavy traffic from the closure.

The tractor-trailer is believed to have been hauling tools, and there is a small gas spill.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash, according to the spokesperson, and there's no word on injuries.
