On Monday, River Bend Food Bank launched its new initiative, Million Meals Match, with presenting sponsor IH Mississippi Valley Credit Union in Moline.

The Million Meals Match aims to raise $200,000, enough to provide one million meals.
Ford said the effort builds on the success of the Student Hunger Drive, which has provided more than 19 million meals since 1986.
