SCOTT COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - A class action lawsuit against Tyson Foods is moving out of federal court and to Scott County.

The lawsuit involving 39 broilers will go before Scott County Judge Zac Horack.

Russ Oliver, the attorney for the farmers, said he is excited to get these farmers their day in court in Scott County.

The farmers are suing after the Dexter chicken processing plant closed in 2023, and Tyson restricted the sale of that plant to a non-competitor.
