Halfords issues urgent 'risk of injury' safety recall

Halfords has issued an urgent safety recall for one of its products due to a 'risk of injury'. The motoring and cycling giant has made the recall over one of its car seats.

It relates to the Halfords Essentials Nyala R129 car seat, and is being recalled due to a 'risk of injury due to a buckle failure'. It is thought the buckle could be affected by high temperatures, reducing its effectiveness in a collision.

It affects those with the batch codes 211X and 223X, with people being urged to check their seats immediately. They were sold between March, 2023 and May, 2023.
