Victim’s account of a fight might provide motive for 2016 Pa. killing

WILLIAMSPORT — The words of the deceased victim could come back to haunt the Williamsport man accused of killing him.

Lycoming County Judge Nancy L. Butts has given the prosecution permission to introduce through the mother and girlfriend of the late William Michael Blackwell evidence the prosecution believes provides a motive for his 2016 slaying.

The evidence is about a fight Blackwell, a Middletown native, had with Dawud M. Rogers in DuBoistown on Dec. 22, 2016.
