Remember filing a claim in a Facebook settlement over the past few years?

Good news could be coming your way; payments have started arriving in bank accounts.

According to a website regarding the $725 million privacy settlement, the distribution of payments "has commenced and will continue over the following 10 weeks." If your claim was approved, you will receive an email three to four days before a payment is issued, the website stated.

The settlement, which was reached with Facebook's parent company, followed a lawsuit that alleged Facebook made users' data available to third parties without their permission. It also claimed the platform did not monitor or enforce third-party access to the data they received.
